Day Twelve Leavenworth - Bellingham

During the night a snow storm went over the mountains. When we left Leavenworth, heading west on Highway 2, the sun was shining but by the time we got to Stevens pass (1270 m) it was snowing.

Stevens Pass
Our main target for the day was the Boeing Factory at Everett. It is an incredible sight to see those huge aeroplanes being assembled on the line. This is definitely a place not to be missed!

We carried on northwards to Bellingham, skimming the western side of the North Cascades National Park.
