Again another route that I took in 1996 but in the opposite direction - Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome.

Between Sedona and Jerome there is Tuzigoot National Monument. This has one of the best visitor centres of the National Park System explaining about the Sinaguan village.

The temperatures in Phoenix were high which was quite a difference to the weather that had greeted me only 2 weeks before.

As I had already been to Phoenix before, I left before my parents who spent another 2 days exploring the city. And yet again a holiday of a lifetime was over! I found it very difficult to get in the plane. I have fallen head over heels in love with Arizona - even if the weather wasn't typical for the time of year!!!!
