My parents weren't arriving until late afternoon so I decided to go to the Zoo. I had woken up to snow but by the time I arrived at City Park, the snow had melted.

First, however, I went to the Natural History Museum which is located next to the zoo. This is an incredible place - very informative and full of beautiful animal scenes. I walked to the zoo through the park which gives great panoramas of the city of Denver skyline.

Denver Zoo is a wonderful zoo. I spent several hours watching the animals enjoying the spring sun. Unfortunately the gorillas are kept behind glass in relatively bare enclosures.
